There really was no need for it but thank you anyway. However we all had a great time, the internals of the building are great to look at, and makes a good and different setting for a spot of lunch. and a tiny bit too expensive ( one slice of gf cake £4.50 !!) My Dad told me that in the men's toilet not even the automatic tap worked . There was just one male and one female toilet and at one point there were five women waiting in a snaking queue down the cafe to use the toilet . look like a factory and had won an architectural award) - all in memory of David Mellor. He is apparently one of the best-known designers in Britain, specialising in metalwork and especially cutlery. Our second visit here and excellent.The quality of the food is high, a goats cheese and thyme quiche, husband had coronation chicken salad and declared it to be delicious ,and We confess our ignorance as we had not heard of him.
