The water exhibit was closed (with no mention of this on the website).

We drove over 2 hours to get there, in crazy rain, paid $60 to get in (including Military Discount) just to find that there was no room in the dining area for our family of 5 to eat. They're actually pretty well laid out and non-trivial to solve, so put on your deerstalker caps and play Holmes. All in all, this is a great place for the kids, although the price may keep some away (figure $12 each + $16 for parking next door).Oh yeah, a note - there's a McD's right next door which is somehow completely unfair and convenient at the same time. This was not worth $13 per person (yes, for anyone above 2). Port Discovery’s staff of colossally creative folks make sure to pack every minute with can’t-be-beat edutainment, creativity and learning! Street parking is available and a garage is around the corner. Many things were broken or in a general state of disrepair and some exhibits were just empty. The water room is cool. I also apologize for the manner with which the parking validation was handled during your visit; we have addressed this issue with staff and appreciate you letting us know about your experience with that. My daughter had fun, but I thought it was lame. in their equally terrific new Tot Trails room. But for now, save your time and money for other Baltimore attractions. Once finished dining, we moved on to be pushed, shoved, bullied and overrun by multiple groups of unruly Boys & Girls Club kids. I think we'll attempt to re-home the complimentary tickets and save ourselves the future frustration. That was pretty neat. They had a diner for the kids to pretend cook, play cashier, and serve customer. Comment from Christopher B. of Port Discovery Children's Museum, 1/18/2017Katie B., Thank you taking the time to share your experience at Port Discovery Children's Museum. Is it better to buy tickets online when planning to go there? Use the parking garage next door for a discount in parking. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, especially when I compared it to the Maryland Science Musuem (where everything was broken). Kids obviously like it they're running amuck all over the place. If you park in the nearby Harbor Parking deck, see the folks at the Port Discovery ticket counter for a parking discount ticket.

I noticed this place called "Port Discovery" near the Inner Harbor. Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews. I was apprehensive about going with my daughter and so were other adults wanting to go with their kids. No big deal but just another thing to kind of dislike.
It’s. The car at the gas station was one of his favorites. That wasn't terribly convenient--I would have preferred a ramp, to more easily flow from one floor to the next, but not possible here. The top floor had some educational computer games, but is this really what you expect as a tourist? My daughter had a great time but it was a little much for me.
I was really disappointed. It was huge and spacious. The middle of the place has climbing tower, accessible by rope bridges. After a very helpful employee, Kelly, cleared some room for us, with difficulty from a rude Boys & Girls Club group leader, we were able to get a table but, had to wait 6-7 minutes for her to find us some chairs. Hop on an enormous slide from the top of the tree and land back at the roots where you can fuel up your car, grab a healthy snack and practice your skills on the soccer field. I have to start by saying that we've gone to Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, which is really, really cool and only charges $5 per person, so I found myself constantly comparing this place to Marbles. I don't want to use the expression, "run down", but the things that the kids play with and the appearance of the museum in general is getting older and due to be refreshed, I'd say. My 5 and 7 yr old maniacal Munchkins had a great time, they could climb, run, interact and make noise; pretty much their 'modus operandi'. Just be warned - the exit from the bubble thing gets really slippery; just about every kid we saw in there took a fall on the way out.The Egyptian tomb area and the "mystery house" bit will appeal to the 7 and older crowd, especially if they like puzzles. Limit of two (2) deals purchased per person. Make sure to use the raincoats in the water structure!

They always had a ton of fun and couldn't even decide where they wanted to go first, every day we went was deemed "the best day ever"!

A Great experience. Resting upon another branch is a watery world dotted with dams and gigantic bubbles so big you can fit your whole self inside them. She also really enjoyed the hands on water area very similar to the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
