They are open for takeout and have dine in. They do offer takeout and all workers are masked. The Uni is unbelievable. I got takeout due to COVID for the C set and it was awesome. We also ordered the modified omakase (pandemic edition) and every morsel was delicious and fresh. The last time I went there was during COVID-19 and they allowed indoor seating but there was a wooden partition between each table, the tables were far apart, and it felt safe and clean. But again I've pretty set expectations way too high meaning I Beeb to kens , Shino kappa, kaito, kokoro, and was saving ota for last . Belly sampler is amazing. But if you've eaten in Japan, or places like NY or SF, you will likely agree with my opinion. Best place ever!! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. Between the two this is my preferred place to eat for sushi/sashimi because there is more emphasis on the quality of the fish.
The nigiri s are exceptional, each fish enhanced in a unique way. The minute you step foot into Sushi Ota you are greeted right away. Like most reviews I will recommend sitting at the bar. They are observing social distancing very well.
