The pup-up asking for password keeps appearing and won't accept password.
I powered up my PC on April 29, 2020 like I do every day. Yesterday however it started popping up a Google login window, asking for my Gmail address and password.
When I tried to open Outlook it asked for a password.
2 days of it now.
Any ideas how I can fix this and get my IMAP folders re-synced to Outlook?

Can get messages, but can't get rid of the gmail login twice (once to send, once to receive) every time I try to sync mail. It’s frustrating when Outlook keeps asking for a password despite entering it numerous times in the app. Discard post? I have had a major MS Office failure which eventually resulted in a Win 10 reset which appears to have solved the main problem but of course requires me to rebuild all my Apps.
When I enter them I get taken to a screen requesting that I allow access to emails and personal info, etc. Pop-up keeps appearing. This reply will now display in the answers section.

(Spent 2+ hours on the phone with Microsoft, and verified it's not an MS Outlook issue). Exactly the same issue for me. Your notifications are currently off and you won't receive subscription updates. We're committed to dealing with such abuse according to the laws in your country of residence. Using the password didn't work so I changed it. Broken again.
Uninstalled/reinstalled Outlook, reset everything in gmail for recommended fixes - 2 step verification, app password for Outlook, etc, etc. Not even using it through outlook although I have in the past and never had this issue. Are you sure you want to continue?

There are various reasons why it asks you to enter your password again and again.
