The spices were perfect and added to the overall flavor without being overwhelming. Particularly, pressing hard on the chicken when breading it.

We love them dipped in honey mustard or a homemade ranch dip. Easiest done with forks, as fingers tend to get very sticky.

I think you’ll like this gravy recipe. I’m unable to have casien, so instead of buttermilk, I added a tablespoon melted ghee to 2 cups soy milk.

I was concerned that the cayenne would be too much for my 4 and 7 year old but it was just right. I didn’t get to marinate this very long but the chicken was flavourful and tender and juicy.

I haven’t tried baking them; unfortunately, I don’t think they’d be nearly as good. Pan fried in Canola with a black iron skillet. So good – very crunchy and tender chicken. Can I just say, best fried chicken ever! The oven was on a high temperature – 200C which I think is about 375F.

I cooked half of the chicken now and i cant believe it the taste is amazing.
