I baked this in one king Arthur tea loaf pan (equivalent to a 9 by 5 loaf pan) and it turned out perfect and had a good height to it! Add chocolate chips if you're feeling it. These also got churned out many at a time. Of course, banana sizes can vary greatly… and my version of medium-sized may differ from yours!
